Hi,
A+
Thierry
Hi,
We are very nice in the Wainwright lagoon, there are about 400 people living here.
They seem cool and happy. We get a very good welcome, yesterday Albert and Kathy gave us cariboo meat and we’ll maybe have walrus and polar bear meat.
Tonight John should come and pick up us for 4×4 driving in the toundra looking for reindeers, they are between 5 and 30 miles from the village now.
On one picture you can see an oumiaq, this boat is made with floated wood and seal skins. Watertightness is obtained20with grease and oil. In Greenland they used bearded seal skins, those are the largest and limit the number of sewings. Those boats were used for summer nomad camps and also for whale hunting.
